Spiderman jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of spiderman jasper, which was mined near the Oregon/Idaho border. This particular stone was cut from material hand selected in Quartzite a few years back, and I think it's of a higher quality than most. It's actually the nicest I've ever seen. It certainly cuts an interesting cab, jam packed with wild reddish-orange spiderwebbing against a background of very deep reddish brown to black. It's just bound to make a fascinating item of jewelry, and I encourage you to give it a try. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, a versatile designer shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
