Rhodochrosite cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of rhodochrosite, from Argentina, cut from old stock I've had many years. This example features lacy bands of pink alternating with white. It has a delightful degree of warm translucence though I haven't included a backlit photo. This substantial stone has a designer 'bullet' shape, with a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, and it is polished to a lustrous brilliance both front and back.
