Sonora plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a large collector's cabochon of Sonora plume agate, cut from coveted old stock which hails from Mexico. This outstanding stone is from my own personal collection, and features BLOOD RED plumes, with several interesting splashs of white agate. The largest of the pools includes ghostly fortifications, neatly framing a single small but ornately detailed plume. Plenty of contrast and visual interest here; the fiery hue really grabs, and holds, one's attention! The stone has a well rounded dome of 5+mm, a gracefully elegant designer drop shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
