Luna agate cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of luna agate, from Mexico. The very best of this old classic material will typically have more purplish coloration, but what this example lacks in color, it makes up for with an intriguing variety of patterns. There are well defined bullseyes, tubes and orbs, fortification banding, and lacy scallops. The stone has a low rounded dome, a designer drop shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
