Dryhead agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of collectible Dryhead agate, from Montana. This vibrant full-patterned example has wildly intricate fortifications in classic shades of reddish-orange and cream, plus it has a wide greenish band in the mix, too. That contrasts strongly against a chocolate-brown background, which is the actual host matrix. At the stone's core is a sparkly crystalline center. It's quite striking, easily worthy of setting in gold, and the more you look, the more there is to see! The cab has a rounded dome of 6mm, and a designer teardrop shape, beautifully polished both front and back.
