Agua Nueva agate cab ~
Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of Agua Nueva agate, from Mexico. I often find that Offered here is a cabochon of Agua Neuva agate, from Mexico. I often find that I favor this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This colorfully busy example has a fancy fortification and bullseye tube in shades of pink surrounded by bunches of dark orangish moss. There's a scattering of tiny dots, too, which often characterize collectible Mexican agates. The stone is very gemmy and translucent, so there is a fascinating dimension of depth. Gorgeous! The cab has a rounded dome of 6mm, a graceful designer drop shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
