Ochoco tube agate cab ~
Offered here is an extra fancy cabochon of top quality Ochoco lace/tube agate. One of my favorites! This example has a fascinating display of well defined lacy tubes, and others beneath the surface, all quite visible within the translucent agate gel. I can find none of the usual hairlines that typically plague this material, but I have to say, it definitely looks much more impressive in hand than in these photos. The light colored background didn't help, but you get the idea. If you like tube agates, you're going to LOVE this one! The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, and a gracefully curved designer 'paisley' shape with a smooth, glassy polish both front and back.
