Rose agate cab ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of rose agate, which hails from Mozambique, Africa. Great name for this gorgeous chalcedony because it obviously has beautiful rosy coloration. This jelly-like example has strongly saturated hues of rose-pinks edged with delicate pastel purplish-gray, and shows some fortification banding. Its gemmy translucence admits a view within the stone, where there are several interesting white finger-like tubes. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully curved designer drop shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
