Larimar cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of larimar, a rare blue variety of gem pectolite from the only known source in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. I should've gotten a LOT more rough when I had the chance, because the price has certainly climbed steadily through the years. This example has delicious sky blue coloration, extra gemmy, with some darker and more saturated streaks and spots, and a several nice patches of chatoyance here and there. This stone has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a plump designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
