Amethyst sage agate cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of amethyst sage agate, from Nevada. This is old stock material, and I feel fortunate to have been able to enjoy working with it. The dendrites and coloration of this classic agate material sometimes combine in amazingly realistic scenic patterns, like this unique example. Foggy mists seem to envelope and caress the silhouetted foliage, beautifully contrasted against the orange skies of an early sunrise, or late sunset. The stone's crisp designer drop shape has a well-rounded dome of 6mm, brilliantly polished both front and back.
