Laguna lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a large & extra fancy cabochon of Laguna lace agate, from Mexico. This example has beautifully ornate banding with brightly contrasting colors, rather like a highly decorated Easter egg. I particularly like the deep raspberry and lemony yellow hues. There are a couple drusy lined pockets, too, for extra added character. The zigzagging lines of the bands are actually pseudomorphs of dog tooth crystals, easily visible deep down inside the translucent areas. Whether as an addition to your aggie collection, or set for everyday wear, this one's a knockout cab you'll be most proud to own!! It has a low but well rounded dome of 5+mm, brought to a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
