| |  | Description | | | ~ Dinosaur bone cab ~ Offered here is a cabochon of fossilized dinosaur bone, from Utah. This highly silicated material is many millions of years old, a marvelous example of the natural preservation of our earth's ancient, extinct 'thunder lizards'. Over millennia, the cells in this fossil bone have been completely replaced with an attractive shade of burnt yellow agate that also includes splashes of light blue, and some small maroon patches. The thin black webbing of the cell walls adds an attractive touch of contrast. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 5mm, a designer drop shape, and an excellent glassy polish both front and back.
