Teepee Canyon agate cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of collectible tepee Canyon Agate, wrested from the hard rock near Custer, South Dakota. This example features several intricate fine-line fortifications in orange shades against a background of creamy white and burnt orange. There are a couple neat little bullseyes too, as well as a vivid crimson-orange band that contains a crystalline pool of amethyst with a lovely lavender tint. The cab has a rounded dome of 5mm, a graceful designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
