Sonora sunrise chrysocolla cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Sonora Sunrise, from Mexico. I've heard this striking material is all mined out now, sadly. It's hard to beat this all natural color combination, with a patchwork pattern in greenish blue chrysocolla, blood red cuprite, and sub-metallic streaks with a purplish sheen. It's truly amazing stuff, just loaded with designer potential, as this brilliant stone just naturally captures everyone's attention. I think you'll do great things with it, in even the most modest of settings. The cab has a nicely rounded dome, a versatile tear drop shape, and a surprisingly glossy polish both front and back.
