Nature's paint brush jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of nature's paintbrush jasper, which hails from China. This unusual material has only been available to lapidaries for about 10 years or so, in very limited supply, and it certainly has a lot going for it. I've cut many examples of this jasper, but they always seem to sell before I can get them onsite! Anyway, this one has an attractive combination of colorful figures, nicely contrasting magenta and pale yellow, and an absolutely amazing display of jet black dendrites. It'll look fantastic in even the simplest setting. The stone has a high rounded dome of 8mm, and a bold designer 'flame' shape, brightly polished both front and back.
