Nature's paint brush jasper cab ~
Offered here is a distinguished cabochon of nature's paintbrush jasper, from China. This expressive material has only been available to lapidaries for about 10 years or so, in very limited supply, and has fast become a favorite of many. This example has an attractive combination of flower-like figures in magenta, nicely contrasting against a backdrop of yellowish gray, loaded with a variety of spidery black dendrites. I think you'll do great things with it, using your capable imagination. The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, and a bold designer 'keystone' shape, smoothly polished both front and back.
