Offered here is a super dramatic cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. A long time favorite, this classic agate is renowned for its amazing figure, and this one nicely demonstrates why. It has a big bold pattern of contrasting bands, including an outstanding fortification bandings surrounding its rosy pink core. The stone is wonderfully translucent, particularly in the dark areas. It's a keeper, for sure, one that will certainly 'speak' well in your jewelry creations. It has a well rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a plump designer teardrop shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
