Tourmalated quartz cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of tourmalated quartz, cut from a huge terminated Brazilian crystal. This quartz is chock full of jet black needles of tourmaline, scattered every which way. There are some also some interesting bubble-like inclusions, very tiny, that seem to cling to the needles, and are highly visible in the water-clear quartz. This is the very best of the best, the nicest tourmalated quartz I've ever had to work with; once it's gone, I have no idea if I'll ever find any more of this quality, so if you like it, grab it! The stone has a beautifully high rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'talon' shape, and it is polished both front and back.
