Pilbara jasper cab ~
Offered here is a bold cabochon of Pilbara jasper, from Australia. This material certainly cuts striking stones, with contrast aplenty. This example features bright blood red and yellow orange streaks on a black background, with a few dabs of white and pink, too. The busy pattern really catches the eye, and I think it has a boatload of designer potential. If you do too, grab it and make it yours!! The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a plump designer drop shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
