Bishop Ranch plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Bishop Ranch plume agate, from Texas. This unusual stone came from a slice that was cut nearly across the plumes, giving them a more flowery look. The black bouquet seems to float in a translucent milky-blue agate that sets them off nicely, and affords a view into the depths of the stone. Backlighting reveals a golden hue. It ought to look equally nice in gold or silver, or as an addition to your collection. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a plump designer teardrop shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
