Amethyst sage agate ~
Offered here is a cabochon of amethyst sage agate, from Nevada. The coloration of this example is an unusual blend of pale lavender and yellow, that somehow reminds me of ametrine (amethyst and citrine). Various banded zones of color include some white opalite, tiny sprinkles of cloud-like confetti, and a nice showing of dendrites, as illustrated by the backlit photo. The cab has a well-rounded dome of 5mm, a slender designer 'flame' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
