Offered here is a splendid cabochon of Imperial jasper, from Mexico. This collectible spiderwebbed material is simply awesome stuff, a member of the fine grained porcelain jasper family I love so much. This remarkable stone is a study in various shades of burnt reddish-orange, with streaks and webs of light and dark salmon, rose and pink streaming throughout. This one will be impressive in even the simplest of settings. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a bold designer shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
