Blue agate cab ~
Offered here is a delicious cabochon of blue agate, also known as blue chalcedony, from Namibia. The price of rough material this nice has skyrocketed in recent years, but I'd buy it anyway because I find it fascinating! This stone features lovely translucent bluish coloration, along with some interesting white wispy clouds, dots & dashes. Like many other blue agate varieties, this stone tends to be moody, appearing even more intense and deeper in color when viewed in low lighting. It has a generously high rounded dome of 8mm, and an elegant designer drop shape, brilliantly polished both front and back.
