Larimar cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of larimar, a rare blue variety of gem pectolite from the only known source in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. I wish I had purchased a LOT more rough when I had the chance, because the price has certainly climbed steadily over the years. This extra gemmy example has gorgeous blue coloration, and boasts several bubbly patches of silky chatoyance. This stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a versatile designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
