Priday moss agate cab ~
Offered here is an absolutely superb cabochon of Priday moss & tube agate, from the famous Richardson Ranch digs in Oregon. These terrific thundereggs are great fun to cut, because one never knows what surprises they hold within. I love the sky blue color in this example, and the contrasting smoky black tubes encasing golden-green mosses. There are ghostly fortifications framing a patch of white waterlevel lines which, seen on angle within the stone, bear a resemblance to layered wings. Whether you're a collector of fine rare agates, or a jewelry crafter looking to create something totally unique, this cab's a sure winner! The cab has a low but nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a designer 'diamond'shape, and a super glassy polish. The back is sanded smooth, unpolished.
