Flame agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of choice flame agate, from Mexico. This is the grand old stock material, none too easy to come by in this calibre. It features an almost striped pattern of flame-like plumes in a very appropriate shades of brilliant reds, laced between with purples. A few sparkles peek out from the beneath the surface here and there. The background agate is more translucent than the photo illustrates. Nice translucent golden color the pointed end. Gorgeous! The cab has a low but rounded dome of 7mm, a plump teardrop shape, and a bright glassy polish both front and back.
