Offered here is a GORGEOUS EXTRA LARGE collector's cabochon of top notch rhodochrosite, from Argentina, cut from a cross-section of rare stalactite. The magnificent specimen I sliced up for cabs had been in my personal collection for several decades, and it was anything but cheap even way back then. This gemmy gel-like stone features vibrant pink coloration that's invitingly glowing. Simply delicious! It has the typical crystalline veil inclusions within, one gigantic multi-ringed bullseye, lacy bandings, and a delightful degree of warm translucence. This jumbo beauty stone has a high rounded dome of slightly more than 6mm, a gracefully arched designer 'flame' shape, and a slick, glossy polish both front and back.
