Morrisonite jasper cab ~
Offered here is a colorful cabochon of morrisonite jasper, from the old Morrison Ranch digs in Oregon. This rare material is a member of the porcelain jasper family, and takes a dazzling shine. This example features an astonishingly festive array of streamer patterns in gold, cream, rich reddish brown and a couple delightful shades of blue. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, an elegant designer drop shape, and a slick, glassy polish both front and back.
