Agua Nueva agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Agua Neuva agate, from Mexico. I often find that I favor this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This example features golden moss and tubes in a backdrop of agate with a pastel pink hue. There are some delicate fortifications too, soft and subtle, beautifully translucent. The cab has a low rounded dome, a designer 'wedge' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
