Feather Ridge plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from Feather Ridge plume agate which was recently mined in Oregon. This example boasts a delightfully colorful array of plumes in raspberry red and delicate shades of pink, cream and golden yellow, shown off in a very translucent golden background. Plumes like these always seem to remind me of my grandmother's climbing roses, which she lovingly nurtured into vertical carpets so thick with fragrant blooms, they served as fences around her vegetable gardens. She would have loved Feather Ridge plume agate, and no doubt you will too! This cab has a designer 'trillion' shape with a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
