Offered here is a splendid cabochon of Priday polka dot agate, which hails from Oregon. This grand old material is a real treat to work with, when you can find it, and never fails to cut extraordinary stones. This fine example has an almost opalescent quality to the pale agate area. It's rather scenic, when viewed with a bit of imagination, showing a moonlit sky full of stars over a verdant lake. There's even a road, just below the cliffs! heh The stone is cut in an elegant drop shape that frames and compliments the pattern beautifully, with a low rounded dome, and a brilliant polish both front and back.
