Noreena jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of noreena jasper, a relative newcomer from the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The color and figure reminds me of mungina stone, which is rather soft, but this well silicated noreena jasper is harder, with even wilder patterns. Reddish slashes highlighted with flaming strokes of bright yellow-orange frame 'windows' of cool gray. I think it'll be attractive in even the simplest of settings. Give it a try! This cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6.5mm, and an elegant designer drop shape that is polished both front and back.
