Variscite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of spiderwebbed variscite, from Nevada's Prince Mine. This example features cool pastel green that reminds me of pistachio ice cream (my favorite), with jet black spiderwebbing. I can't say I know much about it, but I definitely know that I like this material, and it has proved to be very popular in my own jewelry. No doubt it'll be smashing in your creations too! The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a versatile designer shape, and a surprisingly nice polish both front and back.
