Offered here is a fancy cabochon of poppy jasper, from the famous Morgan Hill, CA. location, no longer open to collecting. This eye-catching stone features a great pattern in crimson red, deep maroon, brown, tan and yellow. The stone does have a couple of the typical fractures that commonly plague this collectible material, but they appear to be completely healed, so this one is 100% solid and stable, and definitely suitable for your best creations. The cab has a rounded dome of 5+mm, a curvy designer 'flame' shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
