Offered here is a large, primo cabochon of Biggs jasper, from Oregon. A long time favorite in the celebrated family of porcelain jaspers, this classic material has become quite collectibly rare and spendy these days. This distinguished example has ribbons of rich chocolaty brown shades against creamy tans. And this prize also has a heaping helping of the much sought after blue and lavender tones. It has a high rounded dome of 7.5mm, a crisp designer 'chevron' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
