Medicine Bow dendritic agate ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Medicine Bow dendritic agate, from Wyoming. This seldom seen material is sought after for its lovely flowering plumes, and this one is a fine example. With a contrasting background of bright white, this stone has several translucent pools and a great showing of jet black dendrites. I've seen these set in both gold and silver with great results, but I think the contrast of a silver mounting would look best. Of course, that choice is entirely up to you! The cab has a well rounded dome of 5+mm, an elegant designer drop shape, and a glassy polish both front and back.
