Rainforest jasper cab ~
Offered here is a sweet cabochon of Australia's rainforest 'jasper'. It features a simple yet attractive pattern in light and dark forest green shades, with one large embedded thunderegg that has a translucent crystalline core. This beautiful material is actually highly silicated rhyolite, and this example is naturally enhanced by many bright yellow-orange flecks of (common) opal, adding character. This cab has a well rounded dome of 7mm, an elegant designer drop shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
