Tigeriron cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australian tigeriron. This stone features golden chatoyance alternating with ribbony bands of dark silvery metallic hematite. In hand, the hematite gleams beautifully, framing the gold tigereye windows. There's also some bright red jasper adding to the palette. This material is exceptionally well silicated, making it a joy to work with. The stone has a crisp designer 'spear' shape, and a nicely rounded dome of 7mm, polished both front and back.
