Offered here is a cab of Owyhee flower jasper, from Oregon. This artistic example features a fascinating flowery plume-like pattern in burnt orange edged with maroon and red, against a contrasting background of dusty rose and creamy pastel yellow-orange to ochre. Reminds me of a stylized watercolor painting of a desert sunset scene with branching cacti. This classic member of the porcelain jasper family isn't often seen these days, and it was never abundant even way back when. No doubt this one will do you proud, whatever your plans for it. The stone has a well rounded dome of 7mm, and curvy designer 'flame' shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
