Chrysocolla malachite cab ~
Offered here is a vivid cabochon of chrysocolla and malachite, from Arizona. This fabulous old material is 100 percent natural, a delight to work with, and more sought after than ever. It features bright turquoise blues to blue-greens, interspersed with malachite that shows hints of shimmery chatoyance. The cerulean blue color looks particularly rich in a gold setting, but I'll leave that to your capable imagination. The stone has a low rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp designer shape, and despite a very slight bit of waviness on the surface (mostly on the backside), it took a great glossy polish front and back.
