Cherry Creek jasper cab ~
Offered here is a new material called Cherry Creek jasper, which hails from China. I'm told only a relatively small quantity came into the U.S., so I feel lucky to have snagged a few of the very nicest available. It features a variety of scrumptious colors, including mango, slate blue, rust and olive, with blushes of a darker reddish orange. Against that is a contrasting pattern of black webbing, which has an interesting silvery sub-metallic sheen. It's very artistic stuff, to say the least, and I think it'll make an outstanding item of jewelry. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer 'diamond' shape, and a glossy polish both front and back.
