Cherry Creek jasper cab ~
Offered here is a new material called Cherry Creek jasper, which hails from China. I'm told only a relatively small quantity came into the U.S., so I feel lucky to have snagged a few of the very nicest available. It features a variety of complimentary colors, including peach, rusty brown, olive, gray, and pastels of smoky aqua to slate blue. with patches of reddish orange. Against that is a contrasting pattern of dark webbing, some of which has an interesting silvery sub-metallic sheen. It's very artistic stuff, to say the least, and I think it'll make an outstanding item of jewelry. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer 'almond' shape, and a glossy polish both front and back.
