Linda Marie plume agate cab ~
Offered here is an intriguing cabochon of Linda Marie plume agate, from Oregon, near the Idaho border. Claim owner Philip Stephenson kindly sent some samples of this, and other, new material to see what fun I could have with it. This example is the second stone I polished up, and I think you'll agree, it has some truly unique coloration and figure. The tiny white plumes against green moss look, to me, like the first snow of the season blown across the last of the green grass, with a scattering of autumn leaves. The stone has a rounded dome of about 5mm, and a graceful designer 'flame' shape that's polished both front and back.
