Regency rose plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a colorfully gorgeous cabochon of regency rose plume agate, from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This delightful stone was cut from grand old stock, and has some very ornate plumes. You know, I love the old material! The colors are golden yellow and cream, with apricot, pink, and dusty rose. Plenty of frilly edging, and the smoky blue agate background has just the right balance of translucence to best show off the plumes, which are shadowed by blackish marcasite. This cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, a crisp designer shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
