Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large and truly striking ocean jasper cab. This Madagascar native was literally mined in the ocean waters near the shore; sadly, the mine owner decided it's become counter-productive to continue harvesting this exquisite material, so NO MORE will be coming out. The unusual example shown here was cut from some old stock I've had for many years. It features a pair of very ornate bullseyes with tiny yellow centers, surrounded by crystalline sprays radiating out from them. The stone is nicely translucent, as illustrated by the backlit photo.This one could easily become a masterpiece of jewelry in even the simplest of settings, or a proud addition to your prized collection. The cab has a generously high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a crisp curvy designer 'pinwheel' shape, polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
