Cherry Creek jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of cherry creek jasper, which hails from China. This example features bright crimson spots on a background of olive green, rich chocolate brown and mango. It also has jet black webbing and streaks. It certainly cuts artistic cabs, very striking in many ways, and I think this one will make an outstanding item of jewelry. The stone has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a designer 'teardrop' shape, and a slick glossy polish both front and back.
