Offered here is a super dramatic cabochon of Botswana agate, from Africa. A long time favorite, this classic agate is renowned for its amazing figure, and this one nicely demonstrates why. It has a big bold pattern of contrasting bands, including an outstanding fortification bandings rippling outward from the rosy core. The stone is wonderfully translucent, especially the wide root beer brown bands and light blue-gray agate. It has a well rounded dome of 7mm, a crisp designer 'spearhead' shape, and it is polished to a glassy brilliance both front and back.
