Petrified palm cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of petrified palm, gem material from Sumatra. This particular fossil wood appears to have been (naturally?) bleached, showing exceptionally light coloration in palest blue grays with black and cream. The once-living palm's speckled figure of petioles is still quite apparent here, accented by a blue agate fortification and a creamy tan orb. It's not often you find such good quality pet palm with nice patterning that doesn't have pits or other shortcomings. The cab has a designer drop shape, a well rounded dome of 7.5mm, and it's polished both front and back.
