Carey tube agate cab ~
Offered here is a Carey tube agate cabochon, from Idaho. Well ok, it's not the red plume agate from Oregon you're probably more familiar with, but it does have mossy tubes, and plenty of them! This particular stone has a rather mysterious feel to it, with a background agate the color of dark smoky root beer, almost black. Shows off the greenish tendrils to great effect, and there's a milk white pool adding extra character. The stone has a well rounded dome of 6mm, and a sweet designer 'flame' shape, perfectly polished to a 'wet ice' finish both front and back.
