Butterfly wing jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of butterfly wing jasper, from Mexico. This long time favorite brecciated jasper is a much sought after classic, though it's actually a rhyolite. This cab is a nice example, chock full of colorfully varied figure, in blue, yellow, orange, red, green and more. Any odd lines are either totally and naturally healed or simply part of the pattern, so you just can't go wrong with this beauty; it definitely won't disappoint! The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, an elegant drop shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
